Extracair, although specialising in commercial kitchen ventilation, carries out installation work throughout the ventilation industry to the highest standards from low volume office ventilation to high volume spray booth and large plant ventilation.

Our installation background

Extracair Installations was formed in September 1991 as an installation only company supplying experienced on site operatives to carry out kitchen canopy assembly and erection for one of the leading canopy manufacturers in the UK.

Extracairs kitchen canopy and ventilation experience

The managing director has over 15 years experience in the manufacture, design and installation of kitchen ventilation canopies and hence can offer valued advice as to canopy sizes, materials, filtration media, types of canopy and air movement requirements. Extracair is a Corgi approved company and as such understands fully the dangers of incorrect ventilation with respect to natural gas and LPG fuelled kitchen appliances.

Project design for canopies ductwork and fans

From receipt of drawings or information provided at a site meeting or survey we will provide a detailed quotation coupled with the drawings covering our proposed design (unless already provided) for the canopies, ductwork and fans.

Stock (spiral ductwork fans and accessories)

Extracair stock a fair amount of spiral ductwork and fittings for the smaller projects, along with various fans and required fixing materials. Most common sizes of general installation accessories are always kept in stock in our warehouse. Specialist equipment, including heavy lifting machinery, is always at hand and ready at a moments notice.

From an initial Email, Facsimile or Telephone enquiry we will if possible provide a quotation to carry out works required, or provide a day work rate if desired.
